Dear my Internet friends.

It has been a few days since my last post. I just got struck by sudden high fever, but luckily i am recovering quickly that I would ever think I can. Anyway, I miss you all and I can not wait to share my thoughts on what’s necessary.

Some people are just too skeptical and starting this business, some are just keep on analyzing without doing much action. I do want to give your practical hint and guide to let you shortcut the long and pain experience as Internet Marketer for the past 5 years.

I have to admit I am ashamed if I just become full time this year I was focusing too much of my offline business. But I know at the end I have to choose. Since February 2007, I am fulltime here. From then on, I speed up my online income, all become clear and my working niche is on Graphics for Marketer.

Through focusing on my NICHE I develop a healthy habit where I spend effectively my time on strengthening and sharpening my NICHE skill on design. Design for me has been part of my life since 1998 where I started doing a brochure for local community news. To cut the story short.

The Internet Marketing Startup Kits are the required tool for starting your online business. It is essential for any niche and you can use this over and over again to any NICHE that you build. Some of them are required to be paid monthly or some cost like one time payment fee.

In all Online Marketing You would need:

1. Payment Processor, like paypal (is FREE) or 2checkout.com is one time payment fee of U$49

2. A Domain Registrar either GoDaddy.com or Namecheap.com

the difference with Godaddy and Namecheap are the level of services GoDaddy has included some package with hosting while namecheap focus its services providing domain names and security certificate.

4. Newsletter Autoresponders, this is yet to be critical without this special tool. You would not be able to capture your visitors and customer email address also contact them on daily basis. I do recommend that you would look this one up to your requirements. The best monthly paid autoresponder is called Aweber.com and Getresponse.com both are cost under U$20/mo

The best thing about monthly autoresponder that this service is created for this online business and you will have more conversion rates for people opening your email and also away from SPAM complaint.

If you are looking for a hosted service I do recommend these two programs where you will be paying U$67 one time fee which is www.bizpacks.com and parabots autoresponder www.parabots.com where you will be paying U$97 one time fee.

Both has a great interface and flexibilty and their creator stand behind their software 24/7 and gives you superB support.

I do want to introduce you to Desktop Newsletter Autoresponder called Mailloop and is created for those who does not want to install software and have 24/7 access to their clients and one time fee of U$267 but yet the software has gone to version 7.0 and its getting stronger. Check Mailloop here

5. HTML editor, such as microsoft frontpage or NVU editor (Free Software)

6. FTP software i would suggest to get the best free one called FILEZILLA

7. Other software for editing like graphics editing you can get a trial version of adob photoshop or use GIMP that is available for free

8. Info product creation by using word editor software that has inbuilt PDF Creator you would be looking for OpenOffice that is available for free and can open microsoft office programs

Those are the essentials of Internet Marketing Startup Kits. With all that in your possesion you would be going faster than anybody else on your journey.

It’s Saturday… I just got a little bit upset since my internet connection is having a little bit network congestion. I wrote like 1,200 words on Understanding Niche Riches.

I was almost done. Then it gave me blank page on my blog editor screen. I will need to rewrite everything again before I got reset.

Next time, I should have copied all my text to Note Pad Editor. So once, i lost connection I can recover it from my notepad. Well lesson learned, lesson shared.

Okay, I will start this a little bit different. Have you had time to review my previous two simple materials on what you should learn first and the reason that you are not going with your solo study of Internet Marketing. If that’s your case I would invite you to read my 2 posts on it.

Do you want to know what NICHE is ?

The term NICHE is widely used on Internet Marketing so I would suggest that you do read and understand this well. It will help you in creating the right product that is hot in demand and making cash from it.

NICHE is simply a specific topic that is hot in a certain group of people and you can monetize by simply providing solution to this related specific topic.

Does it sounds too complicated? Actually is not. But I want to simplify your understanding on niche by giving a few real life example that I would get my thinking caps and my mood going on in creating a HOT IN DEMAND product.

This is done simply by using Google.com on finding hot niche topic.

I will start with topic on “Wedding”. Now try to type that word into google.com, what search results do you get? I got around 186,000,000 searches. That means simply there are around 186,000,000 related content or information on this topic it does not mean also that there are 186 million different links.

Google search gives you estimate results on how this keyword is being use widely by a lot of people in the world, that could be me at the moment. Once I publish my page, and wait a few days to get this post rank. My post link will be added to that 186 million searches. Once I bid for the right keywords I can get more visitors and higher rank for people who search using specific keyword on it.

Back to the niche topic. Why niche is so important?

Without your niche you do not have a specific target on what kind of product to create, and who is the target market of the product you are selling.

You can not make product that cater to all markets even if someones says there is. Is either he has a genie on the bottle or he is on “crack” or even he is not really know what he is saying.

I will backup my statement on it just watch closely now!

I just got off tonight from a friend’s wedding. In my country we have a different kind of wedding party style going on compare to those people who lives in western country.

A wedding in western format style would have an invitation from minimum of 5 to 100, even above 100+ is considered big party.

But here in most asia part of region a wedding will need to invite a guest from 200 - 5000 or some even hold it for 10,000 guest.

This proves a simple fact that I just talked about that you can not cater an information on organizing wedding party for 200 people to that of 1000 - 10,000 plus guest. Each event requires different strategies to hold a successful wedding party.

The same case would go on creating your product for the internet especially if your product is information related.

Since I have shared about how wedding industry has different needs and cater different target market. Let’s see how it is applied on finding specific topic (the specific topic is called as “niche” to simplify, some may precept differently)

Open your browser, and type: www.google.com enter the search term: “wedding”

You will get over 186,000,000 in returns. That means that google has indexed over 186,000,000 wedding related page with the keyword wedding.

Let’s find and easy way to find what topic on wedding related keyword. Since a a lot of wedding couple would like to know more on “wedding cake”, let’s see what we can find when I enter that keyword “wedding cake”

I got over 1,790,000 searches that google has indexed so far. That means we have narrow our topic, plus google has interestingly find similar keywords (you see it on the very bottom of the result display on page 1).

wedding cake picture		wedding dress		wedding		wedding flowers

okay on the illustration above we want to see how many searches result on wedding cake topic

I just added all the one related to keyword “wedding cake”. The results are quite similar around 1,5 million searches more or less

We will need to narrow our wedding cake topic, my narrowed keyword is “wedding cake recipes”. And let’s find what kind of wedding cake taste that are favorable by a lot of people.

I do search terms on this keyword and its results as follows:

Chocolate Wedding Cake Recipes - 1,470,000 results

Vanilla Wedding Cake Recipes - 642,000 results

Tiramisu Wedding Cake Recipes- 80,300 results

From our 3 keyword research I can see it simply that the three keywords has around 500,000 results different more or less.

Interesting enough since I want to create a product on wedding related topic. I have got my option down and narrowed to Tiramisu Wedding Cake Recipes or even the Vanilla Wedding Cake Recipes. Since Chocolate has been the most popular there is not a big demand for people to pay for the recipe.

Tiramisu cake recipe on the other hand is a mixed taste that I would prefer but I do want to try my search on vanilla cake recipe. And see how do I sell to people who have interest to know more about making Tiramisu / Vanilla Cake Recipe

From then on I have simple product creation idea, I will need to know if there is a product that offering “Bake Your Own Tiramisu Wedding Cake”. If there is such demand then I can consider to start research and make a writing on it.

On the above process a niche is not something general like the word “wedding”, you can have a niche in “Preparing a Wedding”, “How to Prepare a Wedding Toast” or even “How To Bake Your Own Tiramisu Wedding Cake”

When you are narrowing your niche keywords you are actually giving your visitors idea on what kind of products that you can create for them. Users can see that you are even an expertise in your niche topic, since you are offering a specific narrowed keyword.

What niche do you need to start from on? I would suggest to start from niche that you are passionate about and easy to write about. So if you like to tap into the niche of Automobile, don’t say just car but make it narrow like “Cheap Car Accesories”, if you like fishing “Fishing Guide for Beginners”, if you like investment “Proven Investment Strategy” and more.

If you find that you can narrow your niche, next try to put that keywords with some combination of phrases and see if your results returned with high indexed page

Internet Marketing is not a hype or get rich quick money maker scheme or even a money game. Internet Marketing is a profound strategies to market your product /service on the net. It has real business process in it, and you need to work smart and using all kind of leverage available on the net.

The art of Internet Marketing that it always push you to learn new things, I love learning new things. I make myself to be a good student and doers when I get to study one topic.

I know you are eager to learn.. and I am not trying to delay the information. I just need to give you good solid reason for you to understand what needs to be learn.

Assuming that you are selling ebooks, software and other digital products.

Here are the Basics of Internet Marketing:

1. How to Sell & Accept Payment (find out which payment processor works in your country to receive payment from customer)

2. How do you deliver your product (Does your customer need to wait for the product like 24 hours delivery time or instant download)

3. How do you ensure your customer on their purchase? Do you provide them with 30, 60 or 90 days money back guarantee? if not, give enough reason why they should buy your product in such deal

4. How do you measure the customer satisfaction level? Do you send them a feedback form and reward your current customer for a gift on filling in survey?

(Interesting fact: You can give your customer virtual flower or virtual thank you card)

5. How do you contact your customer if you have another exciting promotion from you and your partners? Do you use mailing list or you actually post ads on google or other online advertising media? Do you promote on digital marketplace?

Those are really the BASICS of Internet Marketing. I think you need to discover this. I discovered those answers after few years of trial and error and I also had bigger challenges back then, since country where I am staying at the moment can not do some of the things I want to do. And the same challenges but I overcome them.

Okay, Do you want to know my answer to those BASICs of Internet Marketing?

1. How to Sell & Accept Payment (find out which payment processor works in your country to receive payment from customer)

Answer: since I can not use paypal, I need to find alternative of credit card payment and I found (2Co) aka www.2checkout.com

I can use 2checkout to do wire transfer after I receive some money from my sales. I need to at least made sale of U$300 at my 2checkout account.

2checkout has one time setup fee of U$49. Plus it can verify buyers from most of countries that paypal had restriction on them.

2. How do you deliver your product (Does your customer need to wait for the product like 24 hours delivery time or instant download)

Answer: Since the product is in digital format (which means customer needs to download and I do not need to ask for forwarding company like DHL, FedEx to deliver my product)

How do I deliver my product? 24 hours delivery time or Instant Download?

Since I have chosen 2co, 2co has a nice inbuilt system where you can upload the product to their database if it is under 1MB and will deliver the product upon successful payment confirmation done.

I can setup any products and set a download link for my customers to download my products even while I am sleeping, Cool!

3. How do you ensure your customer on their purchase? Do you provide them with 30, 60 or 90 days money back guarantee?

Answer: I usually give them 30 days money back guarantee on my personal product that I created if it is like a source code or private label product where they have total freedom, I offer no guarantee on it (The reason is private label, they can do whatever they want with the product. I will explain later what is private label and how you can benefit from this the right way)

4. How do you measure the customer satisfaction level? Do you actually send them a feedback form and send them a gift in return for filling in survey? 

Answer: To ensure the customer satisfaction level, things I would do is getting people to fill survey and rate the satisfaction level on my product content, how I package, and product delivery or even product pricing. You can have a lot of questioners but you do want to make it easy to get a feedback from your customer without them having to think twice. Once they submitted their response. I will direct them to a download link for accessing gift (note: my gift could be another ebook or software, something that is easily distributed in digital format).

5. How do you contact your customer if you have another exciting promotion from you and your partners? Do you use mailing list or you actually post ads on google or other online advertising media? Do you promote on digital marketplace?

Answer: The way I contact my customer is through mailing list. I created 2 kind of mailing list those who wants to receive newsletter and those for who paid for the product I am selling (I get them to sign up on my mailing list first before they are actually get my product that way I can update them on future updates and such)

The mailing system is called Newsletter Autoresponder (has 2 features Newsletter and Autoresponder alltogether very neat system). I personally have two recommendations I will put it next on the side bar of my blog.

Why the heck is it important to your MAKING MONEY ONLINE?

If you need to make money, is simple you have to create VALUE. This value is what people will be able to pay you for answering their needs.

Only PROBLEM SOLVER will have the opportunity to create more money by answering the needs of certain groups.

Once I grab this simple knowledge of life. I know ready to start and set goals. Why goals is important. Imagine this if you are a SOCCER player and you have no goal to kick the balls in. What do you feel like? There are probably hundred thousands crowd cheering on you to make a move. But guess what?

You are kicking thin air and just making your way surviving on the field.

Once you set GOAL, you can set your eyes to the target and determine what strategy to put the ball in (you can work with team mates) and make the goal together or you can go by yourself then end up you are being on ONE MAN SHOW.

The way Internet Business grows it is not through solemnly a ONE MAN CAPABILITY of making money. Big names like Mike Filsaime, Ewen Chia and many other successful marketers are relying on what is called affiliate to help them to make money. Interesting right? We always want to make money by ourselves, but we forget in the process you need to form solid team to work together.

Well, let’s get back to track. DO you really want to make money online? What about if I say that you LEARN ONE THING and MASTER it then LEARN ANOTHER THING and MASTER it? Sounds good?

Next, what do you want to learn? In real internet business you need to know what I call the essentials. Essentials, are the set of rules to get your ONLINE business going, is how you play the game. There is no use of having to learn build affiliate army or even learn to build list if you never know how to execute online business process. Though it applied differently to different industry the rules of thumb still follows.

The RULES of thumb on ONLINE BUSINESS PROCESS are as such:

1. How to accept payment online (by Credit Card Merchant or Paypal if you have one)

2. How to deliver your product (by automatic downloading, or simply shipping it).

It may sounds too easy but frankly if you have the business sales letter and you asked top notch sales copywriter that cost you U$3,000 or even more.

You will find why you are not receiving any money because you make hard for your visitors or prospects to pay for what product you are selling.

The importance of DELIVERY on your product will determine if you have your business on autopilot or even to have your business running with your help like for packing and shipping.

I do not suggest the second one, to do manual packing and shipping. It will consume your time heavily, I have done this and regretted every time waste. The best way to learn online is to sell digital products it has low capital but higher return (compared to waht you invest)

To Summarize what I have shared, it is simply a give and take situation: Merchant Sells, Buyer Receives Product Upon Successful Transaction

1. You must know how your BUSINESS will accept payment. If your business can not accept CREDIT CARD then you will lose a lot of sales.

note: although people prefer paypal. It does not hold the fact still majority of people would like to purchase with credit card because they get VALUE POINT on their credit card purchase. Next, if something goes wrong like the download link is not being retrieved then you can ask for refund through your CC (Credit Card) company.

2. You must know how to deliver your product. Do you know how your product got deliver? if it is DIGITAL, you would need to upload the digital product and then provide return download link upon successful purchase. If the payment processor is quite legit one like Paypal.

They have a special option for merchant to create order button and return download link on the fly. How about other merchant? some do provide, some don’t

3. Once You understand this.. learn how to do the above process technically and also logically. Try to find and encounter every possible scene that might happen in the future of doing your business and ask from the merchant provider how to solve this problem (like refund, product not delivered correctly, and customer also merchant disputes)
